In the 80’s, Geoffrey was the brand, but as years progressed and Moore’s law improved computing, communication, and e-commerce, Geoffrey and his brand began to weaken and as new toy companies started to manifest they literally started taking Geoffrey’s dollars out of his pockets….Now Geoffrey is dying….
Many people today love anime, just as I do. We watch it on Crunchyroll, Adult Swim’s Toonami, or we buy the DVDs and Blu-Rays and enjoy our favorite series. But the cost of creating anime is vast, and many companies have actually taken fandom a step further, by asking fans to contribute to new projects on Kickstarter. With my analysis of these three projects: Little Witch Academia 2, Under The Dog, and NEKOPARA , is Kickstarting anime a good decision?
To answer that question, I think we should take a closer look at the anime I backed.
On November 10th, 2017, Region 99 reported on Funko and its IPO (Initial Public Offering). In our previous investigation, we mentioned that the Law offices of Kirby McInerney, LLC launched an investigation into their funhouse practices….we decided to wait for a sizable amount of time (November 2017 to January 20th 2018) due to people stating that we should ‘give the company a chance’ to analyze them. So, we waited and waited and now, 3 months later, we feel that our analysis on the company warrants attention to the sellers, traders, and collectors. We provide you our take on the company for 2018 and answer the question some of you may still be asking; Should I still invest in the company?

Recently we broke the story about Funko going public. Well they went public on Thursday November 2nd, 2017....It wasn't pretty.
Approximately 1 to 2 days ago, Geekwire announced that Funko will be filing an IPO soon. What does this mean? It means that fans and collectors of those little vinyl statues can now own a piece of the company. The question from this announcement should be: “Should I invest in the company?” or “Is it worth investing?”
